Final energy consumption in road transport by type of fuel

Final energy consumption in road transport covers the energy consumption of the following road transport modes: scooters, motorcycles, tricycles, quads, cars, vans, mini-buses, buses, truck and other on-road vehicles (for example: snow plows, fire trucks, ambulances, etc.). Off-road use of fuels (for example: cranes and excavators at construction sites, harvesters and tractors at fields) is excluded from road transport and included in the respective sector of consumption. Road transport include passenger and freight transport, domestic and international transport, urban and intercity transport performed on public road networks as well as on publically accessible private road network, including both the free and the paid part of the road network systems.
